GroupM's ESP Properties wrote Ariel into the film as an extension of the detergent's 'Share The Load' campaign, and cut a companion TV film carrying #ShareTheLoad through Shah Rukh Khan and Dilwale footage, versioned for Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Marathi markets.

Best Foods put a licensed Dilwale on-pack promotion on its Best Rice packs and activated the distribution trade around the film's trailer launch, aimed at tier-one and tier-two Hindi-speaking markets.

Paytm

The first digital-only Hindi film campaign: Red Chillies made a co-branded video of the leads talking about the Paytm offer, Paytm ran it on its app and site, pushed notifications to its 11-crore user base, and gave 10 per cent cashback on every Dilwale ticket bought through the Paytm wallet.

Hotstar

Hotstar ran a five-week start-to-end Dilwale campaign: the trailer, two song videos, behind-the-scenes films and a one-hour episode of its original show 'M Bole Toh' shot specially with Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol, cross-promoted on Star network channels in India and over 100 countries. Red Chillies CEO Venky Mysore spoke to the deal.
