How it works
The ladder is a starting point you can edit: the top level gets naming rights, each level below gets less visibility, and the last one is a simple thank-you. Themed names are our suggestions.
The category partner slots and the chart are counted from Monumentum's record of who sponsors India and Gulf properties, and under which label, as of 4 Oct 2026. Each number is how many separate properties used that label or bought from that category.
Questions people ask
What are the usual sponsorship level names for an event?
Indian events mostly use a role ladder rather than metals: Title Sponsor at the top, then Presenting Sponsor, Powered by, Co-powered by and Associate Sponsor, with category partners (Beverage Partner, Banking Partner) sold alongside. Metals (Platinum, Gold, Silver, Bronze) are common at conferences and nonprofit events.
Which sponsor tier names do Indian events actually use?
Across the India and Gulf properties on Monumentum, as of 4 Oct 2026, the labels on the most properties are kit supplier, shirt sponsor, partner, title, official partner, back-of-shirt sponsor. The chart above breaks this down by kind of event.
How many sponsorship levels should an event have?
Three to five is easy to sell and easy for a brand to compare. Fewer levels make each one feel worth more. Add category partner slots beside the ladder rather than more levels.
What is the difference between a title sponsor and a presenting sponsor?
The title sponsor’s name becomes part of the event name. The presenting sponsor is named on the event line, as in "presented by", and sits one step below. An event usually sells one of each.
Should sponsorship level names be creative or plain?
Plain names sell faster to brand teams, because a marketer can compare your Gold with someone else’s Gold. Themed names work for a festival or a community event with a strong identity. Keep them short and keep the order obvious.
What is a category partner?
A slot sold to one brand per category, such as Beverage Partner or Banking Partner. It sits outside the ladder, so a brand that cannot afford title can still own its category at your event.
