Maruti Suzuki is not on JioStar's IPL 2026 sponsor list. Its big deals in 2026 are Comic Con India, five regional editions of Bigg Boss, Kaun Banega Crorepati 18 and the Zee Cine Awards. Its newest face is Shahid Kapoor, who arrived in October 2026 for the Victoris Aurum Edition.

Who is Maruti Suzuki's brand ambassador in 2026?

Each face belongs to one car or one showroom channel. Kartik Aaryan is the Brezza's, Sidharth Malhotra the Dzire's and Rajkummar Rao True Value's. We found no company-wide ambassador, and NDTV's 2025 list of carmaker ambassadors names the Brezza and the Dzire as separate entries.

Shahid Kapoor is the new one. Maruti's release calls it an association and a tie-up for the Aurum Edition, and stops short of the words brand ambassador.

No end date has been published for any of them. The last NEXA film we can date with Ranveer Singh is from 2019, and NDTV lists him as Skoda's ambassador from February 2025. The new Brezza film of July 2026 does not name its lead in its description, so Kartik Aaryan's latest confirmed film stays the January 2025 launch.

Does Maruti Suzuki sponsor the IPL or Indian cricket?

We found no such deal for 2026. Maruti is absent from JioStar's IPL 2026 list and from the T20 World Cup 2026 broadcast partners the ICC published, where Mahindra and Hyundai both appear. It is absent from the BCCI associate partners Financial Express reported in September 2026 and from Social Samosa's Asia Cup 2025 list. These are sponsor lists, and they say nothing about ordinary spot advertising.

The search has a history behind it. An ESPNcricinfo release of April 2017 called Maruti an official sponsor of the IPL's tenth season.

Sport in general is thin. Motorsport.com reported in 2018 that the Raid de Himalaya ran without Maruti for the first time since 2001, and MG, a rival, is putting its name on the 2026-27 ISL, as our ISL sponsor list records.

What does Maruti Suzuki sponsor in 2026?

Pop culture, reality TV and film awards. These are the deals from 2025 on, in the rights holder's words where it publishes them. NEXA, the premium showroom channel, takes the south Indian and IIFA film awards under its own name.

Is Maruti Suzuki a Comic Con sponsor?

Yes, and it is the deal with the most dates. Maruti Suzuki Arena was already presenting Mumbai Comic Con in April 2024, and the name now sits on the city editions as they open. The 2026-27 season started at Vizag with a change: the wrap-ups through Mumbai in May 2026 read Maruti Suzuki Arena, and from Vizag in October they read Maruti Suzuki. Indore, a new city, is officially titled Maruti Suzuki presents Indore Comic Con.

Is Maruti Suzuki a Bigg Boss sponsor?

On the regional editions. afaqs reported in September 2026 that Maruti moved from four southern markets last year to five editions, adding Bangla, with tasks and integrations inside the show on JioStar and JioHotstar. It is Joint Title Partner in Malayalam with White Gold, on BestMediaInfo's and Adgully's lists. Those two lists disagree on its Telugu and Tamil tiers, so the table does not pick one. Adgully's list for the Hindi Bigg Boss 20 does not name Maruti.

Which Maruti Suzuki ads came out in the last year?

The Arena and NEXA channels post spots most weeks. These are the campaign films and the seasonal work from November 2025 to October 2026, and none of the releases or articles we read named an agency.

The biggest electric idea went without a star. The e Vitara launch remade a 1990s ad around a boy called Kancha, and marketing head Partho Banerjee told exchange4media in December 2025 that experience does more than celebrity endorsement for EV adoption. Ten months later the Victoris anniversary edition went to Shahid Kapoor.

What changed for Maruti Suzuki this season?

Bigg Boss went from four editions to five. Comic Con moved from the Arena name to the Maruti Suzuki name. Shahid Kapoor came in for the Aurum Edition. The car on show at the Zee Cine Awards moved from the e Vitara in 2025 to the Victoris in 2026. KBC gained Google Gemini as a co-presenting sponsor beside Maruti.

Diwali is the odd gap. Last year Victoris had The Perfect Diwali Drive on 15 October. As of 1 November this year, with Diwali a week away, we found no film titled for Diwali or Dhanteras on the Arena, NEXA or Maruti Suzuki channels, and the Aurum release carries the festive season instead.
