IDFC FIRST Bank's name came off India's home cricket in August. It is still on four city races.

IDFC FIRST Bank is no longer the title sponsor of India's home cricket. Its three-year deal ran from September 2023 to August 2026, and on 26 September 2026 the BCCI named Muthoot FinCorp in its place. The bank's 2026 sponsorships are running and business events: its name is on all four Procam races and the NMDC Hyderabad Marathon, and it presented two business events. We found no current celebrity brand ambassador.

Is IDFC FIRST Bank still the BCCI title sponsor?

No. The BCCI announced on 25 August 2023 that IDFC FIRST Bank had won the title rights for all international matches in India, men's and women's, along with the Irani, Duleep and Ranji Trophy and junior cricket. When the BCCI floated a new tender on 20 July 2026, Moneycontrol reported that the bank's deal “runs until August 2026”.

The tender found no buyer. The Economic Times reported that the BCCI was “unable to find a partner through the tender process” and agreed terms with Muthoot FinCorp directly. The BCCI announced Muthoot FinCorp as “Title Sponsor for India Home Cricket” on 26 September 2026, through March 2028, and its first match was the ODI against West Indies in Thiruvananthapuram on 27 September. No source we opened says whether IDFC FIRST Bank bid.

How much did IDFC FIRST Bank pay the BCCI?

Rs 4.2 crore per match, in both reports we could read. They differ on the total. The Economic Times puts it at 56 matches and Rs 235.2 crore over three years. Cricbuzz counts 55 internationals and about Rs 231 crore. The BCCI has not published the fee. The Economic Times has Muthoot FinCorp at about Rs 4.3 crore a match for about 35 matches, under the tender's base price of Rs 4.85 crore.

Who is IDFC FIRST Bank's brand ambassador?

We found none for 2026. The bank called Amitabh Bachchan “our Brand Ambassador” in a commercial it posted on 21 October 2020. We found no film with him on its YouTube channel after 2020, and no announcement that the deal ended.

The 2026 campaign face is the actor Sumeet Vyas. Schbang says it made six films for the bank under the line “Seedhi Baat, Seedha Hisaab”, posted in June 2026, and Passionate in Marketing reported that Vyas fronts the campaign. Neither calls him a brand ambassador.

What does IDFC FIRST Bank sponsor in 2026?

Running, mostly. The bank is on all four races Procam organises, each listed by the race itself, and the Hyderabad Marathon was organised in association with it in August. The other two are business events, both presented by the bank. No source we opened gives a fee for any of them.

Does IDFC FIRST Bank sponsor the IPL?

Not that we could find for 2026. The bank announced a three-year deal as Official Banking Partner of Mumbai Indians, which it called its “debut in cricket partnerships”. Mint and BestMediaInfo reported it on 16 March 2023, which takes it through the 2025 season. We found no source naming the bank with Mumbai Indians, or any other IPL or WPL team, for 2026.

Which IDFC FIRST Bank deals have ended?

Three, all in cricket and television. The bank was banking partner of Kaun Banega Crorepati for three seasons, afaqs! reported in 2024, and SBI joined as Banking Partner for season 17 in 2025.

What is IDFC FIRST Bank's latest ad?

These are the dated films on the bank's own YouTube channel from January to October 2026. Schbang is the only agency named, for the June films. Most of the year went to cards and the savings account. The festive push started on 30 October.

What changed for IDFC FIRST Bank this season?

Cricket went. The title deal ended in August, the three-year Mumbai Indians term covered 2023 to 2025, and the bank's latest cricket film went up in July. What stayed is the running calendar, where its name is on a race in Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, Bengaluru and Hyderabad.
