We found no celebrity brand ambassador for Amul in 2026. Its face is still the Amul girl, drawn since 1966. Its sponsorship went to sport: it was Official Regional Sponsor of both Argentina and Spain, who met in the World Cup final on 19 July 2026, and an official partner of the Glasgow Commonwealth Games and of five IPL teams.

Who is Amul's brand ambassador in 2026?

The Amul girl. Amul says Sylvester daCunha and illustrator Eustace Fernandes created her, and she was introduced in 1966. Rahul daCunha, who took over the topical ads in 1994, told Storyboard18 in 2024 why the agency has stayed away from celebrities: “You have to create a character and stay with that.”

Celebrities appear in the topicals as the subject. In 2026 she has covered Karan Johar's Met Gala debut and Saif Ali Khan's Kartavya.

We found no 60th-anniversary campaign for her as of 2 November 2026, on Amul TV or in the press we could read.

Who is the Amul Macho brand ambassador?

Amul Macho belongs to another company. PTI reported in 2021 that J G Hosiery owns the innerwear brand, and the dairy brand Amul belongs to the Gujarat Cooperative Milk Marketing Federation. Financial Express tied Saif Ali Khan to Amul Macho in 2017. We found no Amul Macho ambassador named for 2026.

Did Amul sponsor the FIFA World Cup 2026?

It sponsored two teams, and they reached the final. The deals are regional, for India, and they sit with the federations. BusinessLine reported the fourth Argentina year on 10 December 2025, with a range of products featuring the players planned. Free Press Journal reported the first Spain deal on 17 June 2026, with the tournament under way.

Amul handled the final by backing both. On 17 July it posted “Raise a glass of Milk to Argentina!” and “Raise a glass of Milk to Spain!” on the same day. Spain won 1-0 in extra time on the 19th, and the winner's short went up on the 20th. Jayen Mehta, Amul's managing director, gave the reason for this kind of spending in 2023: “Sports is an important medium for Amul to connect with today's generation.”

Does Amul sponsor the IPL?

Yes, in two ways. JioStar lists Amul as an associate sponsor presenting the Cricket Live show. And BestMediaInfo's team lists put Amul or Amul Protein with Delhi Capitals, Chennai Super Kings, Kolkata Knight Riders, Lucknow Super Giants and Rajasthan Royals.

That is fewer than last year. Mehta told Moneycontrol in January: “Last year, we sponsored nine teams.” The same report had Amul as RCB's sponsor in 2025 and Karnataka's Nandini going after the slot, and BestMediaInfo's 2026 list for RCB names Nandini and leaves out Amul. Amul Protein's two films in May starred the RCB captain anyway.

What does Amul sponsor in 2026?

These are the deals from October 2025 on, in the rights holder's words where it publishes them. No source we opened gives a fee for any of them. We found no Amul deal with Pro Kabaddi, the ISL or KBC 18.

Which cricket teams has Amul sponsored?

Amul sponsored three national sides at the 2024 T20 World Cup, and South Africa at the 2023 World Cup as well. We found no national team deal after that. Social Samosa's T20 World Cup 2026 list shows team sponsors for other brands, and Amul only beside Star Sports' Cricket Live.

The WPL moved the same way. Amul was the league's Official Beverage Partner through 2025. In 2026 the name appears at team level, per Moneycontrol: Amul with UP Warriorz and Amul Protein with Mumbai Indians.

These are the dated films on Amul TV, Amul's own YouTube channel, from November 2025 to October 2026. None of the descriptions or articles we read credits an agency. The topicals are the work of daCunha Communications, per Storyboard18.

What changed for Amul this season?

Spain joined Argentina. Glasgow and the hockey World Cup went on the list. The IPL team count fell from nine to five on the lists we can read, and RCB went to Nandini. We found no national cricket deal after 2024.

Protein moved up. It is the name on four of the five IPL team rows, it has the only named star in the film list, and CNBC-TV18 reported a high-protein savoury snack set for 30 October 2026.
