Campaigns

With the agency and talent where the trade press named them.

Launch · 6 Feb 2025

An omnichannel launch marking Mashreq's entry into Oman, positioned on the bank's origin as the Bank of Oman and framed as a legacy reunited. A film built on research into Omani generations ran for 90 days on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X and YouTube, alongside 12 weeks of lamppost, airport and billboard sites across Muscat and print in Al Watan and Muscat Daily.

Agency: Sweetwater MEA.

Influencer · 28 Oct 2024

Mashreq fronts Rise Every Day with Zainab Al Eqabi, an MBC host, pharmacist and advocate for people of determination who lost a leg to a detonator blast in Iraq. The bank deliberately uses real people rather than influencers or celebrities to carry the platform's story.

Talent: Zainab Al Eqabi.

Digital/social · 4 Oct 2022

Mashreq tied its Rise Every Day brand platform to a long-term partnership with the streaming service Anghami, which produced an exclusive podcast of regional stories about people who overcame challenges, plus an original song composed for the bank. UAE customers got up to twelve months of Anghami Plus.

Rebrand · 21 Sep 2022

Mashreq relaunched itself as a challenger brand under the positioning Rise Every Day, framing the bank around customers working towards their own goals. The logo kept the flare from the bank's heritage but dropped the blue for a sunrise-orange palette playing on the meaning of Mashreq, place of sunrise. The platform is told through real people rather than celebrities.
