A nineteen-second spot made with Shareet Studios that tells a whole story — agency finds fast internet, shoots the ad, client approves, viewer reacts — inside the running time, to dramatise Zain's five Ookla speed awards. Written in everyday Kuwaiti dialect and monotone delivery; it took 2.5 million Instagram views, after which Zain's marketing team funded cinema and roadside billboards for it.

Zain's annual Ramadan film, the first it shot on location in Gaza, Lebanon and other war-hit places, built on a play on the Arabic word for attendance and carrying an anthem sung by Majed Al Mohandes. It featured Maria and Renad, two children who had become known on social media from Gaza, and ran on Gulf TV and on Zain's own channels, passing six million views within days.

The 2024 Ramadan film cast children killed in Gaza as its protagonists alongside Handala, the Palestinian cartoon figure, under the line 'We will return'. It was the year's most-argued-over Gulf ad and ran on YouTube and social before television.
