DET turned residents into the channel, letting anyone with an Emirates ID nominate up to five visiting friends or relatives and collect more than Dh3,000 of hotel, dining and attraction offers once the visit was verified. It ran to 31 October 2026 with rewards valid to the end of the year.

Dubai's long-running summer mascot Modesh was paired with the Baby Shark character for the first time, a crossover built to carry the Dubai Summer Surprises season with families and to give the city's own IP a globally recognised partner.

Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment paired Modesh, the 25-year-old face of Dubai Summer Surprises, with Pinkfong's Baby Shark for the festival's first character crossover. A live stage show with Modesh, Dana and Baby Shark ran daily at Modesh World in Dubai World Trade Centre from 18 to 31 July.

A joint push with Google that sent Google Maps Local Guides out to build curated lists of lesser-known Dubai restaurants and cafes, then opened public voting on them from 22 June to 6 July. It sits under DET's 'From Dubai, For Dubai' platform and was launched at a Breakfast Club event at the Etihad Museum.

A stopover brand film with Millie Bobby Brown and Jake Bongiovi, written and co-directed by Oscar winner Armando Bo, in which a script found at Dubai International pulls the pair through Al Seef, the Museum of the Future, Burj Khalifa and the Al Qudra dunes. It launched in 21 markets on TV, cinema, streaming, OOH and social.
