At the close of the 2025 Tanween edition Ithra announced the creativity festival would be renamed and relaunched as Ithra Design Week from 2026, with the winning Tanween Challenges prototypes carried into the first edition.

Tashkeel took six new Tanween pieces by UAE-based designers to Dubai Design Week, all built on sustainability and local material stories, and used the stand to open the 2025 Tanween call for engineer-and-designer pairs. Tasmeem Tashkeel showed alongside it and a bespoke artwork with Vacheron Constantin was unveiled at the watchmaker's Mall of the Emirates store during the week.
